Paul may know the new 4BT acronym for the new 3.9 Cummins. The older diesels that everyone is using are the mechanical injection type. If you buy a crate engine from Cummins they are all the newer electronic injection type similar to the production Cummins in the Dodge 2500/3500 trucks. There is a huge difference in the sound, the electronic injection is much quieter.
