Fold it into the typical triangle, stuff it in a sack, and toss it in the trash. But do it with reverence and respect.
Makes as much sense as burning it with reverence and respect, just like burning trash, except with reverence and respect.
Or, if you want a ceremony, and it is not nylon fabric, bury it in your own back yard.
The biggest thing, is to replace it, and hold the new one in reverence and respect. THAT is what's important.
