I put the winch on my 1942 carryall, I used midwest military frame extension and bumper kit. The MU2 and bumper and brakets bolt right on. Thr PTO and shaft also fit like they should have been done by the factory. If you ever have gotten your non winch truck stuck, you would wish you have one then.
