I'll try this again, I'll be bringing a very nice 1950 mu2 winch to Ron's rally in New Haven Ind. the 14th of the month. it has been taken apart and cleaned and painted. (I didn't open the gear box) when I removed the end brace I pulled the rest off by hand with out the use of a beater! the shaft was in excellent cond. showing less than normal wear. the engagment handle has not been broke. I'll include the bumpers,all braces, frame extenisons, and the little u-bolt that anchors the cable. I shot a coat of rustoelem on it to control rust, and assembled with dry lube so there will not be any surprises under the grease! the winch is a 1950 model mu2. the ring gear is in good shape, as are the dogs on the slider and spool.
