Enjoy it while you can and good to hear there are still SOME places where common sense prevails. Personally I'm glad to see the housing boom slow down at little from the aspect of all the town folk making there mini homesteads in the middle of farm ground. It was becoming quite a problem.

We had one a few years back where a guy moved out and bought a small wooded lot near a creek in the middle of 2 big farms. Guy was REALLY into nature and complained about herbicide/fertiler use, farmers working into the night and the spreading of hazardous waste(manure) near his property and contaminating HIS Creek. Finally bugged the township enough and threatened legal action to the point where they started making "rules" of when and where farmers could do their work.

The farmers and their friends had enough and at the coffee shop a solution was found. He took a month long sabitical every year and when he left some wildlife "found" their way to his property. Over 1 dozen ground moles, 1/2 dozen ground hogs and 3 full grown beavers took up residence. It was amazing how much his landscaping change in that amount of time. When beavers need to amke a den they REALLY like soft ornamental trees.

He ended up moving shortly after that and it was amazing and nice to see a community pull together with a single goal in mind.

Running joke now when someone has a new neighbor move in. "I'll get the tranquilizer gun sighted in."
