actually no, I never have but I thought we were talking trucks. AFAIK you only have to register a vehicle if your going to drive it on the street. I know a guy with a 69 vette that has like 20000 miles on it. He's owned it for 15 years and it just sits in his garage. He still has not put the title in his name. Not smart but not illegal.
