I had a truck I bought as a donor truck for parts.The guy signed the title took my $$$ and I left with the truck.
After I was done with it. I gave what was left of it to a neighbor. I never did put it in my name, All went well as long as it had the signiture of the guy who's name was on the front of the title.
Maybe it help,the notary knows us.
