Is this illegal or unethical for a person who buys an out of state powerwagon and moves it to his state and then advertises it as good "title not in my name but the previous out of state owner signed it"???? How can the new buyer transfer the title if the seller has failed to transfer it to his name after he bought it. I thought when any seller sold a truck it had to be in his name on the title, when the new buyer bought the ebay truck and went to transfer the title he would be comiting a felony by bypassing and falsifying the title transfer fee and posing as the actual 1th seller when it fact the 2nd seller failed to title and transfer the title in the first place. Why would a buyer or seller do this in the first place is my question, is it just too easy to break the law or is it just greed?
