Desoto in a dodge help with oil system?

Hey all,
Well found something out pretty interesting this week
When I bought my truck a few year ago I was told that it had a 251 in it, well after bringing it to the engine re builder it wasn't, it's a 237 cdi Desoto motor?
Long story short, I need what is called a free flow oil filter adapter for the motor anyone know where I can find such an Item?
He said that this would be better than a By-pass filter
