Bias tubes can't handle the flex of radial tires.

Since then, I've also heard not to run tubes at all in any radial tire. Ever.

Lots of old wives tales involved in radial vs bias. I was a tire buster back in the mid 70s, when radials got popular on American made behemoths. There were all kinds of "necessary improvements" sold. Radial balancing, radial alignment, radial spindle bearing nut gizmos.

Anyways, if there is a differnce in tubes for bias tires, I don't know why anything but radial tubes would be made today. Or in the last 20 years?
