Since my truck ('07 6.7L dually) has been in the body shop, the check engine light has come back on. The body shop tech asked me if I wanted them to look at it since they have a diesel tech, so I said sure why not. The light comes on intermittently, and has since I bought the truck back in September of 2007. It never drives any different with the light on, but it is annoying.
I went to pick it up on Tuesday, and was dissapointed with the fact that the body shop had not straightened the drivers side bed corner, where the top of the tailgate meets the bed side; there is a 1/2" gap between the tailgate and bed side. So back to the body shop it goes. Meanwhile the service department reflashed my computer, drove it for awhile to reset the computer, then called me yesterday to come get it again. So I was half way to the dealership and the tech calls me and say it came back on. Apparently I may have to have the turbo replaced, code P2262- Turbocharger Boost Pressure not detected-mechanical. Any body else have this problem. I was told this recall has just been released as of last Friday. My truck has 42,000 miles....
