But I've put a half million miles on Ford twin I beams. Coil spring ride with I-beam strength. Late 70's they improved the tire scrubbing problems with a better steering geometry. Last set of TAs I bought went 100,000 miles.
Fords have been my daily drivers since my first car, a '59 F100. Four Ford trucks in 40 years for me. Antique PWs have been my secondary vehicle/toys.
But I do think, so far as style goes, the '59 +/- Mopars has never been out-sculpted. That goes for trucks, Darts, Imperials,....
I used to see a '59 Dodge pick up body on a F-250 chassis. Best of both worlds.
