Tuesday April 6 at 612 pm a green chev pick up truck pulls half way up my drive way . A man gets out picks up my daughters pet basset hound ! and takes off . My neighbors saw the truck but couldnt not see the license plate (to far away). My daughter is in tears ,so i go to town next morning with a picture of the dog and go to a print shop . The print shop ask me what i want to say on the fliers i said .at the top large print STOLEN, under the dogs picture REWARD then my cell number . I take the power wagon and putter around to the three towns close by handing out fliers and asking people to post the fliers in their stores .Well last night I get a call someone from a town ten miles north and they told me were the dog was .I ask if they wanted the reward they said no they didnt want to get involved I thanked them for the information . So I went to the place and knocked on the door i said nothing when the couple answered the door i just handed them the flier, the woman just covered her mouth in fear like just caught . They took me over to were the dog was chained up and gave me back the dog . They started to tell me how they found the dog on the road starving all i said nice pickup is it yours and left . within 300 yards of where the dog was chained were 3 of my fliers you couldnt miss them . any way we are happy here again ok ok no shots were fired either ok ~ Copey
