That is hard to believe!
But you remember the NP203 T-case(full time) used Dextron.
When I converted my "77" to Part time I switched to 80/90 much to the disbelief of the technicians in the know who said that was a bad move. the box wasn't designed for that oil.
Well,400,000 some odd miles later it still works flawlessly!,Not even a stretch chain!
