Yes there is a sort by "Last Modified Date" in the dropdown box. The default setting is to sort earliest to latest. Select the Reverse Sort box to sort latest to earliest.
Also, the dates are somewhat misleading. The date searched is not the date the message was posted but actually the date that particular forum was archived. For example searching on "Eric B" with a sort by date shows the earliest post by you on June 18, 1998, Forum 5, but the date recorded in the archives is Aug 7, 1998.
