..but I'm not aware of any adapters to bolt a 6BT up to a 440 bellhousing. I believe the bolt pattern on the stock Cummins adapter is small block Chrysler so maybe you can just dig up a small block bellhousing & bolt her to your transmission?? Not too sure if that works or not.
I'd strongly recommend an NV4500 with the married NP205 & then just jetison the old divorced 205 boat anchor. Less u-joints, one less driveshaft & engineered for the extra power of the 6BT.
That's what I'd do.
