I spent the last 23 years in that country, and have traveled over Mcdonald pass to Helena more times than I can count. There are so many really cool places to go trailing in that country, checking out old mining towns, etc. I could send you to places where the road(?) is barely wide enough for a PW, with a 300 ft drop on the down side. After i get out of MI, moved here after selling the ranch, I will be returning to MT ASAP. It really is special country.
