I have to go with Mike on this one. He is definitely the expert on tires. While most of us aren't driving our PWs like race cars there are still instances where this could be a problem. Case in point: I was driving on some old tires with bad casings and one blew out at the worst time. I was climbing a steep, rocky hill when the sidewall blew out. Couldn't have been going any faster that 2 mph, hardly moving. No big deal except I slid sideways off a rock and into a deep rut. Had a heck of time getting out. Ended up changing the tire right there, on a steep hill, that was the scary part.
