...so few people ever check their electric trailer brakes & they're actually quite prone to problems & require a lot of adjustment. My trailer when it was "Brand New", had only 2 wheels that would completely lock up, the brakes were so far out of adjustment.
I'd say anyone that uses their trailer regularly should pull the wheels at least every 6 months & have a gander. If you don't use your trailer much, having it sit is the worst...pull them every time you use it.
At the very least, be sure to get a friend to apply the brakes & make sure that all 4 tires will lock up.
