If you have the governor on your carb make sure that you use the correct size jets and needles. They are larger than in the regular carb without the governor. I put all the new jets and needles in without checking size during my rebuild. I ended up putting back the original jets and needles that came out of my carb as the ones that came in the kit were under sized and caused the engine to run lean and I needed to pull the choke a little to get it to run well. As soon as the original jets and needles were reinstalled the engine ran great without any adjustments.

I did use the new float needle and it's seat as the originals were very worn which caused raw gas to run onto the engine when I shut it down. I also used the accelerator pump as the original was worn badly. Check the one that you get in your rebuild kit. The kits you find now are mostly used on M37's and the accelerator pump is not the correct length. You can use parts from the new one and yours to repair the original. Obviously I used all new gaskets.

I got my rebuild kit from DC. He actually modified the accelerator pump as he knew it was going into a PW.
