Matthew, mine does the same thing just not quite as bad, yet, it will get worse as time passes and I will have to rebuild the carb. mine is the carb leaking raw fuel into the engine after it's turned off. if it sets for a hour or so it starts fine, if I start it after only a few minutes, it's flooded, without ever touching the gas pedal. if you rebuild your carb and make sure the fuel lines are far enough away from heat sources to eliminate the possibiably of of over heating the lines or carb it should take care of the problem! hope this helps, or maybe gives an idea of what is going on.
