Just like the counter rotating engines, there are counter rotating starters. Port engine turns counterclockwise and starboard engine turns clockwise. You also have to have the pitch reversed on the propellers. I have seen propellers put on the wrong shaft by mistake, really gets your attention when you shift the clutch into forward!! Series wound motors used on starters are changed to reverse rotation by changing field polarity inrelation to armature.
