I cant see how they would loose their temper. However, I had Betts Spring in San Leandro, Ca design custom springs for my Carryall. I asked about using Teflon Strips between the leafs. The Betts Engineer flatly refused to do that, saying the springs can over extend on a truck, they are just to slippery. Betts will use Teflon on Ambulances and Cars. I asked about me taking full responsibility for the use of Teflon. I was told if you demand Teflon between the leafs on a truck, you will have to go elsewhere.
