I went through this last year. When I was doing a brake job on my 1960 W300, and Napa looked up a 1960 W300 in the book and came up with those #'s, they ordered them for me, and they turned out to be wrong. They were the ones for 1946-1968 WDX-WM300 Style Power Wagons not the W300, parts # 9375 and 9376 are the stepped bore ones. (look in the PIF) Somehow Napa books are wrong!!??

I ended up taking the part #'s to Napa out of the 1960 Dodge factory parts book and they crossed those #'s, and they pulled up those #'s as fitting 1959-1968 W300's, weird EH?? But when they looked up the 1960 W300 (not to be confused with WM300) in the their book it gave them the #'s for WDX style PW's, so somehow their system is messed up?? The back ones I got form Napa (from the crossed factory #'s) were right on the money!! The Front ones were almost the same,, everything on the front was the same "except" the hole for the fitting where the brake line screws into, was about 1/8" lower,, (see pic) when I was at Napa we noticed this, but I didn't think it would matter, when I got back to my shop, I found that when I bolt everything up the head of banjo bolt hit the top of the steering knuckle. Since I had to order these W/C's I could not return them,,, so I ground the head of the banjo bolt at a 45/ to clear the knuckle. After that they cleared. But if I had to do it again I would NOT use the Napa front W/C's.

I talked to Kevin Mccarthy about this since he had just did a brake job on his 1959 W300, and he said he did NOT have the same problem as I did. But he did NOT use Napa W/C's, I forget now where he got his from but they were from another source. If I did it over again I would use his source!! I am sure he still has the part #'s and could post them here??

One thing I found out in all this running around,, and looking in the factory parts books, is the W300 front brakes use the same brake shoes, as a WDX style PW, they also use the same brake return spring, and adjuster bolts, etc,,, it fact according to the factory parts book only two things are different on the W300 VS's the WDX-WM300 front brakes, that is 1 the backing plate, and 2 the W/C #, that is it every other small part on the front brake system is the same, so in a pinch I don't see why you could not use the WDX-WM300 style W/C in place of the one for the W300?? In fact in since then I have torn apart one of my other 1960 W300 front brakes and they had WDX type W/C's in them and everything appeared to be working fine yet.

Look at the link below, that is the thread Vaughn was helping me with last year when I was pulling my hair out trying to figure this all out!!
