Just taking a poll and get some insight on what would be the best engine for my power wagon project. I had originally thought the cummins 4bt was the answer, but cost may be too much. Then been thinking about the 318, and see that alot of you have done this option. I do have the original engine and it runs fairly well, but not sure of its reliablity, etc. I want a truck I can drive and enjoy. Also if the 318 is the right choice, then what year(s) engine and a good source to find one. I have several in storage from the late 70's, but are all chrysler marine engines.
Also, will anyone be bringing a diesel conversion civilian power wagon to the Southern Power Wagon Rally?
