Fold the larger pieces in half and make a mark on them in the center. Start sewing from the mark. The center. I was an upholster for 10 yrs.You need a walking foot sewing machine or at least an industrial sewing machine. You need to lock your stiches so it won't fall apart on you.when you are sewing,don't pull on the material,especially vinyl.Easier to work with cloth material I think.
