Whan I bought my 1/2 ton WC-12 in 1987, I found a pair of home made free wheeling hubs under the front seat. They had fabricated a flange with the holes to go on the axle hub but, had welded a piece of what looked like 3/4 pipe in the center of the flange and the drive axle shafts were freewheeling in the pipe the end of the pipe was closed off. I still have them for nostalgia purposes. Those were the days.
