Ford eventually went to adding a vacuum storage container in their system. I had a '68 Ford LTD station wagon with vacuum controlled heat and defrost ducts as well as headlight doors controlled by vacuum. There was never a problem. I have suggested adding a vacuums storage into the PW sustem before. I don't know if anyone has evr tried it or not. JH
