I wouldnt give much for a manual angle plow. Been there done that, power angle is the only way to go! My first Dodge was a 41 half ton WC with a myers plow, manual angle. It drew more power than my feeble charging system put out, so it was always a race against time to get the plowing done before the battery died. Night plowing was always a losing race. Even daytime plowing usually ended up with a spare battery being called into play. The previous owner had done somethin that caused the transfer case to literally break in half. The driveshaft off the tranny was still connected through the gears to the rear shaft, so it was driveable. I chained up the rear wheels and plowed an entire Vermont winter that way, while searching for a transfer case. The gears were running dry, and open to the weather. Finall found a transfer case over in New York (pre internet days, it was a lot harder to find stuff). The irony was, a couple of years later I found a junk Dodge about a mile down the road in a farmers junk yard (old tractors and other dead machinery. He gave it to me and I dragged it home. Same transfer case that I went to New York to find. Thats usually the case isnt it?
