(just kidding, after we watched that video). Have you ever had these lug nuts off before? If not, there's always the chance that somebody replaced one of the studs with the wrong handedness. I had one once that was that way. Look for an "L" or "R" stamped on the end of the stud or see if you can see enough of the thread to make out which direction it's going. Otherwise, a 1" impact wrench is really the way to go. In my experience a 3/4" impact wrench is okay for spinning them off once they're broken loose and for putting them back on, but it won't break loose Budd lug nuts that I can break loose by using a Budd lug wrench with a good quality bar and jumping on the end of the bar. On tightening, a 3/4" impact wrench will still leave them loose enough that I can tighten them a little more by hand. Even at tire shops, I tell them to leave them a little loose and let me hand-tighten them. That way I know I can get them off by the side of the road using just muscle power.

As for anti-seize, I use it regularly on lug nuts and it definitely helps on disassembly. It will not make the nuts unscrew themselves, unless you put them on so loose that they would have unscrewed themselves anyway. It's mostly the friction of the outer edge of the nut against the tapered hole that holds a lug nut from unscrewing, not the friction of the threads.
