You are right, one gear is slanted, other is straight cut, but the main problem is distance. I called a HD truck shop that outfits ptos and they said come bring what I have and they will get the correct adapter and correct pto for a front mount ptp winch. They have the NP 540 trans in there application but want to see if before shipping, so that weird adapter spacer is still available according to them.
