I was in the exhibition hall at Quest Field in Seattle, setting up for an RV show, when the last earthquake of any magnitude hit. You can't believe how must the concrete floor bucked up and down and the roof shook ratting the ventilation ducts and fire sprinkler pipe. I was standing next to 2 big motor homes (Prevost bus chassis) that were parked about 2 feet apart. They bounced and swayed enough that they hit each other at the roof. Right across the street a 4 story brick wall came down on about 4 parked cars. Lucky no one was in them. One of our drivers was towing a 5th wheel, when the earthquake hit, on I-5 and he didn't feel a thing.
