3 ring piston in OZ

Hi, I am trying to date a NOS engine I have.
It does not have an engine number. Its a 251 but I have never seen one like this in Australia before.
The three things that are different to what I have seen here before are
1, It has the area machined to take a full flow oil filter.
2, it has a 2 peice rubber rear crankshaft seal
3,It has 3 ring pistons.

Engines used in Australia after 1953 up to 62 were English made. I always thought this on was as well untill I stripped it down for inspection. Now I am just confussed.
Any help in dating the engine would be greatly appreciated.
