I had one recored. No problem with the fold over design. If you have a shop do it. remember to tell them that the filler spout must remain in the same position in relation to the mounting brackets. It not the filler neck may not go through the hole in the top cowel. When I got mine back it was not centered in the hole any more. It fit just not centered as it was before.
