Inspite of the rotton weather we've been dealing with in the Northeast, I feel Spring is in the air when I rolled up the garage door yesterday and looked at my B4PW and WC1 and CJ3B. The B4 is essentially done (I am negletful in not posting pics but I wanted to wait until I got 1 more coat of paint shot before her debute). My next project is the CJ3B now ramping up but also there is the WC1 waiting in the wings. End of ramble...Regarding the WC, this is a very complete truck, very little rust except in the usual spots( behind the cab on the bottom) no big deal). I want to keep her stock even 6 volt! but I would like the the thoughts of the PW world on keeping the color original flat OD or perhaps, just perhaps, with a civi color-maybe a deep red? Also about tire size. I have seen this type of 1/2 ton truck with 9x16 tires and I think that it looks sharp though not authentic. I dont think that the bigger tire will fit on the spare tire carrier on the right side of bed. I would like the opinion of folks on the larger tires, what is the effect on perfrmance? Any thoughts appreciated on these two ideas.
