That's wild. Some of those old-time loggers were really clever with machinery. That one reminds me a bit of the "snow cats" an old timer here told me about building in Montana when he was young. They'd take some old 2WD truck out of somebody's boneyard, cut the body out so they could wrap used conveyor belting around the tires, front to rear, split the brake circuit in two and add a separate pedal and MC for each side, and have a "skid steer" snow cat. He said they made several of them.
