I forget which company this was but I've seen them before though this the first one of these systems I've seen on a Ford. The others I've seen were on Chevy vans. It also has a dual front output transfercase, obviously. This system allowed a lower height when converting a van to 4x4.

My E350 4x4(conventional straight front axle with leaf springs) sits rather high for having only 255/85R16 tires(~33"), and it has a modified front cross-member which still is the limiting factor on lower height. The frame couldn't sit any lower without the front axle hitting the cross-member. It gets very close as it is.

I like vans. I love 4x4 vans. I don't particularly care about the make, I like 'em all.
