Bill. I would suggest you either:
1. Buy the Meyer unit for your truck and modify as necessary to drop the plow down to the correct height. You might even be able to find a used one.
2. Take some good photos of the Meyer unit on another truck and re-create your own.

The advantages of buying it and modifying are:
1. Take advantage of Meyer's engineering expertise.
2. Save a bunch of time in having to fabricate the stuff yourself.
The advantage of re-creating one from photos is pretty obvious:
Save a lot of money by doing it yourself.

I bought the Hiniker mounting system for my '98 Dodge before I ever owned a welder. When I lifted the truck, it was a pretty easy job to add to the bottom of their unit to get the plow in a nice level position, like we talked about earlier.
