Chris, there's info in the archives how to prime the pump - read some of it within the last few months. Rotate engine to TDC on #1 cylinder and line up timing mark. Note the "clock" position where the rotor is pointing at #1 plug lead - like 7 o'clock or similar - pull distributor and look down the hole to see clock position where the slot in the pump drive is and do a little sketch. Pull the pump, clean area, put new primed pump (CW gasket) back in so the drive slot lines up like your sketch. You might have to put it in/out a couple times to get it right as it tuns as it goes in - you'll soon figure it out. When you have it in and bolted up in the right position you can put the distributor back in and check clock position matches what it used to be. Do not turn engine over through all of this. Enjoy.
