I'm just a bit leery pulling on the rod. Even though I used 1/2" pipe, threaded internally, and a bigger Heim joint on the bell crank end, I think a push system would be less prone to fatigue.

Plus, the underfloor vacuum booster can suck in dirty, mud, and water. I'd like to come up with a way to seal the push rod, with a tee fitting to a rubber hose, to an air intake inside the cab. Like the stock hydro-vac system used. I think I would need a longer bell crank-to-booster push rod, meaning rebuilding the whole system. So I might as well change over to the 'push' system.
