I agree with Galen, the 2nd series are the rarest and that is why I personally like them. But if you got an early S.N. '46 WDX, that would be neat too.
However, if you are not picky, one from 1956-68 would have the synchro tranny as well as 12 volt electrics, so would be the easier one, so to speak, to own.
