Well we we now have the transmission removed as well as the pressure plate and clutch disk. I tell you what it needed to be done a while ago. The trow-out bearing was pretty chunky and there was just about nothing left of the clutch disk (down to the rivets) also the pilot bushing is very worn.

I need to replace the pilot bushing with a new one, which I have, so how do I remove it from the end of the crankshaft?

I also need to remove the flywheel as it needs to be resurfaced. I don't need to remove the bell housing do I? Are the bolts that hold the flywheel on right or left hand thread. Also how much do I torque them down re-installing the flywheel?

Does anyone have an alignment tool as I did not receive one in my clutch kit or is there a generic one I can pick up at NAPA?

One last thing Can I resurface e the Flywheel on my Lathe here at our shop or do I need to send it out to and automotive machine shop and have it done?

Anything else I should address while I am in here as I really don't want to do this for a while.

Thanks,
Chris Becker
