For anyone interested, Steve Wataha in Rock Springs, WY has just acquired another 1948 B1PW that he plans to do a total restoration on this winter. This truck also has the original 4-pocket bed and the MU-2 winch on it. If you want a Power Wagon that is as good as, or better than, a new one from the factory, check into what Steve does with his resto's. Call him at 307-382-4260 (both shop and home). If you act fast, you can have him build it to your spec's, such as 4.89 gears, flatbed instead of pickup box, larger engine (251 or 265 in place of the 230).
