In direct response to your question, without even seeing it, I can state with confidence the tag obviously means what is says. What is not obvious from your question, however, is what the tag says. If you share with us what the tag says, then maybe someone will share with you what it might mean.
To pick an example out of the clear midnight blue, if the tag says 4312-XXXX, then the "4312" is the model number for the Budd Co. built closed cab on your truck and the "XXXX" is the serial number for that particular cab in the cab model series.
But there are a million other examples out there in the Naked City, and this is only one of them.
