I haven't flown in a donkeys age. Had fun back in the 70's, but marriage, kid, house, etc. ended my dream of flying and of course it just kept getting more expensive to rent a 150 or 172 so now I just dream. You are right about the old girls, they may not have the finesse of the new ones, but for look they are bar none. It would be lovely to see an old Stearman still waiting to be assembled.
Quite the story on the old Stagger Wing. Love it.
