The Toranado 230 is a good engine, builds 140 hp. The only problem is the timing chain plate and front engine block that it mounts to. The gasket that goes between them is about 1/8 of an inch short at the top. This allows oil to leak past and it's known for that problem. When assembling those parts, if you use silicone sealer on the side areas, it won't leak. It has one of the best wearing blocks of any engine made. It will go alot of miles and you'll hardly see cylinder wear. I would'nt hesitate putting one in a PW.
