If you wanted more clearance you could always put spacers between the springs and frame and jack her up, my w100 came with these from the factory. Also think of the cost of replacement parts and the cost of the vehicle to begin with. The ff seems to be the most all around universal truck ever made. The unimog tries to do the same thing with 10 different models and the system is way to complicated. Keep it simple. Of course Dodge dropped the ball to some degree in their heydey when they ditched the ff(stupid), I blame that on the beaurats not the engineers who designed her though, how easy would it have been to solve the axle problem. Then again if they had continued to make her we might not being having as much fun as we are now looking back. I`m hoping to find some boxed units that were never assembled.
