great minds think alike.... the solution is likely electronic box and not a simple reducer. if i recall, flower wagon works made my gm hei distributor conversion that ran on 12v work on 24 volts. they supplied a heatsink resistor with some electronics inside to provide constant ignition safe 12v from 24v. steve likely has the answer. mannyc
