It's a '46, we had the engine out once and swapped the block out. Who knows how many times it was out before that, or dropped. It was cracked for awhile, there was rust on part of the broken surface. We added a pto, and had clearance problems with that and the clutch pedal bracket. Eventually we got it to about 1/8 - 1/4 in clearance, any more and the throttle linkage had problems. I guess it will just be one of those PW mysteries, and we'll add the piece to our failed part museum.
