Joe,
I went through this years ago when I first moved to Alaska. Got laid off from work (it was a seasonal job) right at the start of winter. It then became my job to find a new job. Thankfully for me I had a part time position with the Army National Guard at the time which really helped me make it through the winter.
Relax for the weekend. Then with a clear head start your new job on Monday working to find a new job.
